Moonlights simulate the light from the moon, allowing you to view your aquarium during the evening. In the past you would have to turn on day lights, or use a flashlight to view your aquarium at night. Moonlights allows you to observe it naturally and without scaring your fish. They last a long time, use little energy and do not give off much heat.
